Reminders & Other Info.
Coach must provide a GAME DAY ROSTER.pdf to the referee prior to the start of each game - with the names and numbers of players playing that day
Coaches should have a team medical kit with ice with them for all games.
No coffee or drinks in the gym - referees are instructed to stop the game (without adding time) if spectators bring in drinks
Players cannot switch rosters at game time or game will be forfeited
The Home Team will change their jersey in the event both teams have similar colors
Drop Kicks and punts by the goalie are not allowed
Players can be added to the roster, up until the fifth game of the season - all paperwork must be completed
Each team must have an adult supervisor to clear the hallways at the beginning and at half time of each game
Players receiving red cards are not eligible for the next two games or two weeks of games if the player is on multiple teams - for example - a player registered to two teams would miss four games
Player receiving a yellow card can only come back into play after 5 minutes and with the acknowledgement of the referee
If a player receives a second red card in the season, he/she is ineligible to play for the remainder of the season
Red cards will be reported to the outdoor leagues (i.e. LIJSL) for their consideration in the Spring season
Players can be rostered on two teams, only if the teams are in different age groups Rule Change 12/25/08 – at the request of many coaches - club teams that form two teams can use players on both rosters in the same divisional age group as long as there are no crossover games between the divisions. and the player is age eligible Rule Change (evaluation year) 12/01/11 - also at the request of several coaches - if a team desires to move players from one roster to another on their "sister" team and there are not separate divisions or another age group - the coach may can request, prior to the first game, to designate one of his/her teams as the "Team of Record" for determining the standings. Only the team of record would be eligible for awards (or to play for 1st and 2nd place).
Winning coach must review for correctness, and initial the score sheet after each game
Teams must have 4 players to start the game: referee can wait up to 5 minutes (maximum) from the scheduled start time before a forfeit is called
Eyeglasses, including safety glasses, are NOT allowed - if necessary, a player may wear Sport goggles, which are fastened by a strap around the player's head
THERE IS NO SLIDING ALLOWED - EVEN IF THERE ARE NO PLAYERS NEAR THE BALL - THIS WILL BE A DIRECT FOUL.
FULL LENGTH SHIN GUARDS MUST BE WORN THAT FULLY COVER THE BONE

TEAMS THAT FORFEIT A GAME ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR AWARDS
(OR TO PLAY FOR 1ST AND 2ND PLACE) ANY TEAM
THAT FORFEITS MORE THAN ONE GAME, MAY BE REMOVED FROM THE LEAGUE
Tie Breaker Rules
1. Total Points (3 for a win, 1 for a tie)
2. Head to Head (not used if more than two teams are tied)
3. Most games Won
4. Least games Lost
5. Least Goals Against
6. Most Goals For (maximum of 7 goal differential will be counted per game).
Note: In Divisions that have their last game (8th) as a playoff: the two teams that are in 1st and 2nd after Week 7, will play in a Championship Game.
The winner of the Championship game takes 1st place in the division. The losing team in the Championship game will take 2nd place in the division.
If in the Championship Game only, the teams are tied after regulation time - a three minute "sudden victory" period will take place -
whatever team scores first will win.
If the teams are still tied, then a "1for1" penalty shootout will determine the winner. An equal number from each team must shoot.Note: Cross-Over Divisions: The first place team in each division will play for the championship. The winner takes first place and
the losing team takes second place.
